Yup, that's write (see what I did there), Camp NaNoWriMo is back in session! This month I have set another 50k word goal for myself and I will be focusing on content edits and filling plot holes in Keeper's Conundrum as well as simply expanding the story.
Since it is indeed the 8th day of June (only 23 more days left to write!) and one full week of writing has passed here's an update of where we stand.
So far I am holding out at a steady one day behind the daily needed average to complete the 50k. However, there is a catch. These numbers are based off of TOTAL word count, not UPDATED word count. What that means is every time I cut content, say 100 words, and rewrite those 100 words, the word count registers no change.
So basically I have written closer to 11k but the stat chart does not reflect that. I'm looking into way to fix this and I hope to have a more accurate count by next week's update.
If you don't have a suggestion but want to leave me a friendly cheerleader message those are also much appreciated.
