I want a new sleeker site, a quiet distraction free workspace, and more motivation and energy to carry out the plans I have bouncing around in my head. I’ve been brainstorming about how I can increase the eyes on my work and give more back to my support community. Podcasts and YouTube book reviews have crossed my mind, but right now I think those are both out of my scope. I want to work on making time for blogging, reviewing and posting doodles, while at the same time being able to take a month off to write without distraction or have a lull in my site content.
Then there’s my plan for the future of my actual writing. In the last month I have submitted my work on Keeper’s to an agent while simultaneously submitting three of my short stories for a contest. While I would be thrilled for either of these opportunities to become fruitful, I am not expecting it. I can’t get my hopes up, and lets face it… who catches a break on their first submissions. What I’m more proud of, is that I did it at all. That is a huge accomplishment for me, and one I NEVER thought I would ever do.
As you can see… I’ve been pretty busy. :-)
